Full Grain Leather - Each hide is unique, accepting the premium tannage with variations in color, hue and character. No attempt has been made to conceal the scratches, small pits, scars, or other natural "beauty" marks. They are deliberately preseved and are your assurance that you are getting the best part of the hide -the top- or full grain. It is inherently strong, durable and breathable.
Red Wing conditions their leather hides with many natural oils to prevent the leather from drying out, and giving better overall protection.
CSA-approved and electric hazard protection in order to comply with most safety standards.
Steel-Flex midsole - Stainless steel lightweight barrier. Longitudinal metal grain for improved flexibility. Tested to withstand a force of 270 lbs.
Comfort Force (Impact Absorption System) - Red Wing's uniquely designed ComfortForce footbeds were developed to ensure maximum performance throughout the load, transfer and toe off stages of walking. As the foot travels through each stage, the material properties of the CFP-5 elastomer enable the footbed to quickly return to it's "preload" dimensions ensuring performance and comfort with each step.
